LG Chem: Tennessee cathode plant preparations on schedule for 2026 start-up

In fourth-quarter 2025 earnings (January 29, 2026), LG Chem said preparations for its Tennessee cathode plant start-up are on track. The company noted flexible timing for actual operations based on North American customer demand and market conditions.

• 60 kt/yr capacity targets ~600k–700k EV battery packs annually when fully ramped.
