Kairos Power Engineering Test Unit 3 completes Phase 1, validating Hermes 2 design features

Kairos Power completed Phase 1 of its Engineering Test Unit 3 (ETU-3) at Oak Ridge, a reduced-scale mock-up of the Hermes 2 reactor cavity. The test validated modular shielding designs and remote maintenance capabilities for the KP-FHR, reducing risks for the full-scale demonstration plant under construction.
