GPT-Rosalind upgraded on GPT-5.5 and opened to eligible research organizations worldwide

OpenAI rebuilt GPT-Rosalind on GPT-5.5 and widened the preview from US enterprises to eligible organizations globally. It added plugins for research and sequencing analysis and viewers for biological files. Gains over plain GPT-5.5 were real but small on most tests.

• LabWorkBench 63.2% vs 55.8% for GPT-5.5; MedChemBench 27.5% vs 25.1%; GeneBench 21.6% vs 20.4%.
• Used 31% fewer tokens on long genomics and quantitative-biology tasks.
• New support for single-cell and bulk RNA sequencing analysis.
• Novo Nordisk named as an early user, for analyzing literature, genomics and lab data together.
