Former Universal Robots CEO Kim Povlsen named Bluefors chief executive
Bluefors named Kim Povlsen, president and CEO of robot-arm maker Universal Robots, as its chief executive from no later than 1 October 2025. He replaces Jonas Geust, who stepped down at the end of 2024; founder Rob Blaauwgeers served as interim CEO in between.
- Povlsen earlier held leadership roles at Schneider Electric in Europe, the US and Asia.
- Bluefors had about 700 employees at the time.
