Firefly SciTec Expands Air Force Counter-UAS Contract to $31 Million
SciTec, a Firefly Aerospace company, announced October 8, 2026, that it has extended its Cloud-Based Command and Control (CBC2) contract with the U.S. Department of the Air Force Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management division. The $1.5 million contract extension brings the total contract value to $31 million. The expansion adds integration of a new class of counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) sensor feeds into the Advanced Battle Management System, improving detection, tracking, and characterization of unmanned aerial threats.
