ESMC tops out its Dresden fab 25 months after groundbreaking; tool install set for second half of 2027

ESMC held the topping-out ceremony for its Dresden fab, about 25 months after groundbreaking, with around 2,000 construction workers from 106 countries on site. President Christian Koitzsch said the project is on plan and within budget. Next come the cleanroom interior, automated wafer handling and utilities, with the first equipment due in the second half of 2027.
