Dongfang Electric/26 MW Offshore Wind Turbine

Dongfang Electric's 26 MW prototype wind turbine was successfully synchronized with the grid on October 29, 2025. The turbine is designed to generate 100 GWh annually at mean wind speeds of 10 m/s, equivalent to powering 55,000 homes and offsetting 80,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
