Destinus passes 1,000 in-house T150 jet engines for Ruta as the Netherlands plans to fund about 700 missiles for Ukraine

Destinus said it has built 1,000 T150 turbojets, the engine of Ruta Blocks 1 and 2, on its own production line in Hengelo, the Netherlands. Making the engine itself removes a common bottleneck for missile makers. The milestone came as the Netherlands said it would fund roughly 700 Ruta missiles for Ukraine.

• 1,000 T150 engines built entirely in-house, from design and tooling to quality control.
• The line is meant to support thousands of missile systems a year.
• Ukraine's defence minister Mykhailo Fedorov visited the plant in mid-June 2026.
