Crusoe pledges $50M in AI compute credits to the White House Genesis Mission
Crusoe will provide $50 million in AI compute and inference credits over three years to the Genesis Mission Consortium, the administration's AI-for-science initiative. The credits run on Crusoe Cloud and reach researchers at more than 15 federal agencies, including DOE, NASA, NIH and NSF. CEO Chase Lochmiller announced the pledge at a White House science summit.
- The pledge is $50 million in high-performance compute and inference credits, spread over three years.
- Beyond capacity, Crusoe provides technical support to the researchers who use the credits.
- It builds on Crusoe's role as a launch partner for the National Compute Grid, which pools AI infrastructure for public-sector and educational researchers.
- Lochmiller said: "AI-driven computation is fast becoming the foundational engine of modern scientific discovery."
