Credo makes 800G ZeroFlap optical transceivers generally available

Credo TechnologyZeroFlap optical transceivers

Credo's first ZeroFlap optical product, an 800G 2xDR4 module, went on general sale. It reports its own health to software on the network switch so operators can find and fix flaky links remotely before they disrupt AI jobs.

  • Telemetry from both ends of a link can be read from either end.
  • Non-volatile event log keeps a history of link behaviour.
  • Works with SONiC and other switch operating systems.
  • Cignal AI expects well over 30 million 800G transceivers to ship each year.
