Credo completes ~$750M acquisition of Israeli silicon-photonics developer DustPhotonics
Credo TechnologyZeroFlap optical transceivers
Credo closed its purchase of DustPhotonics, which designs silicon photonics chips for optical transceivers. The deal gives Credo every layer of an optical link, from signal chips and DSPs to the photonic chip, for 800G, 1.6T and future 3.2T and co-packaged optics.
- About $750M in cash plus roughly 0.92M Credo shares upfront; up to 3.21M more shares if milestones are hit.
- Announced 13 April 2026.
- Credo expects optics (ZeroFlap modules, optical DSPs, silicon photonics) to drive fiscal 2027 growth.
