China Telecom forms a quantum technology group in Hefei with 3 billion yuan of capital

China Telecom Quantum Group

China Telecom created China Telecom Quantum Information Technology Group with 3 billion yuan (about $434M) of capital to research and sell quantum technology. It builds on the carrier's quantum-encrypted calling service launched in 2021.
