105-qubit Tianyan-287, based on the Zuchongzhi 3.0 design, opens for commercial cloud use

China Telecom Quantum Group/Tianyan quantum cloud

China Telecom Quantum Group and QuantumCTek put Tianyan-287, a domestically built 105-qubit superconducting computer, on the Tianyan cloud for paying users. It uses the same chip design as USTC's record-setting Zuchongzhi 3.0.

• 105 qubits, 182 couplers in a square grid
• Gate fidelities: 99.90% single-qubit, 99.56% two-qubit; readout 98.7%
• 1 million samples of a 74-qubit, 24-cycle random circuit in 18.4 minutes
• Claimed classical equivalent: about 16,000 years on top supercomputers
