Centrus begins domestic centrifuge manufacturing in Oak Ridge to support Piketon expansion

Centrus Energy announced it began domestic centrifuge manufacturing at its Oak Ridge, Tennessee facility on December 19, 2025, using a domestic supply chain for components. The manufacturing program will produce American Centrifuge units needed for the commercial-scale facility at Piketon, targeting first new capacity online by 2029.
