Carbon Robotics unveils its Autonomous Weeder that kills weeds with lasers

On April 13, 2021 Carbon Robotics introduced its Autonomous Weeder, a 10,000-pound self-driving robot that uses cameras and AI to find weeds and eight thermal lasers to kill them, without herbicides or tilling. It targeted specialty vegetable crops and was reported as sold out for 2021.
