Carbon Robotics raises $30M to scale the LaserWeeder

Carbon Robotics closed a $30 million Series C led by Sozo Ventures, bringing total funding to $67 million. The company will expand LaserWeeder sales in North America, scale manufacturing, develop new products and launch internationally.

• Series C co-led by Sozo Ventures with Anthos Capital, Fuse, Ignition Partners, Liquid2 and Voyager also investing.
• 30 high-powered CO2 lasers kill weeds with thermal energy at millimeter accuracy without damaging crops.
• LaserWeeders eliminated over 500 million weeds across 40 different crops by the time of this round.
