BYD to supply 11.275 GWh of Haohan storage to Masdar's round-the-clock solar project in Abu Dhabi

BYD signed an 11.275 GWh agreement with Masdar to supply Haohan batteries for the Round The Clock project in Abu Dhabi, developed with utility EWEC and billed as the first gigawatt-scale renewable plant meant to deliver steady power day and night. Storage is what turns daytime solar into round-the-clock baseload.

• Haohan units rated for -30 °C to 55 °C with IP66 protection, suited to desert heat and dust.
• BYD's GC Master software manages single sites beyond 15 GWh.
• The same month BYD's MC Cube went live at a 99.8 MW / 288.6 MWh Greenvolt site in Hungary.
