25 more banks join Qivalis, taking the euro stablecoin consortium to 37 banks in 15 countries

Twenty-five banks joined the 12 founders of Qivalis, including ABN AMRO, Rabobank, Intesa Sanpaolo, Nordea, Erste Group, Groupe BPCE and Swedbank. The group now spans 15 countries, with nearly a fifth of its banks outside the euro area, and the launch target remained the second half of 2026.
- Spain has the most members, with seven banks.
- Iceland's Landsbankinn is among the non-euro members.
- Launch still depends on the Dutch e-money licence.
