XPRIZE announced a $101 million competition challenging teams to develop therapeutics that restore muscle, cognitive and immune function by at least 10 years in people aged 50-80. Co-sponsored by the Hevolution Foundation and SOLVE FSHD, with GSK as industry partner, the competition would run from 2023 to 2030 with clinical trials in 2026-2029.
