Xiaomi's Beijing plant builds an SU7 every 76 seconds, helped by its 9,100-tonne casting cell

Xiaomi detailed how its Beijing factory reaches 40 cars an hour at full capacity. The 9,100-tonne press casts the SU7 rear floor in about 100 seconds, and an X-ray system inspects each casting.

• Rear floor cast in about 100 seconds, replacing 72 parts.
• The full casting system has 60 machines and 433 process steps.
