Xiaomi leads X Square Robot's Series B as it unveils the WALL-B model and plans home trials

Xiaomi's strategic investment arm led a new Series B in X Square Robot, which also showed WALL-B, a model trained jointly on vision, language and action to give robots an intuition for physics, using data from real homes. The company said robots would begin trials in households by late May.

• The February round valued it above 10 billion yuan.
• Home trials planned from late May 2026, years earlier than many in the sector expect.
