X Square Robot raised nearly 1 billion yuan in a Series A+ led by Alibaba Cloud, with Meituan and Lenovo among the backers. At the same time it released WALL-OSS, an open robot model with full weights, training and inference code and tools, pitched as a ready-made robot brain for developers.
