Wildtype opens a pilot plant for cultivated salmon in San Francisco

Wildtype opened a pilot plant in San Francisco to grow sushi-grade coho salmon from fish cells, which it called the first operating cultivated-seafood pilot plant. The microbrewery-sized site includes a tasting room and sushi bar at The Dock, and was meant to supply launch restaurant partners.
