Waymo announces fully driverless service for four more US cities; fleet at about 500,000 rides a week

Waymo expanded its driverless robotaxi service to Las Vegas, with Denver, San Diego and Tampa to follow, operating approximately 3,500 robotaxis. The company was providing around 500,000 paid rides weekly and aims to reach 1 million weekly rides by the end of 2026, with international expansion in London and Tokyo planned.
