Uniswap v2, v3, v4 and UniswapX go live on Circle's Arc at mainnet launch
Uniswap v2, v3, v4 and UniswapX went live on Arc, Circle's blockchain built around stablecoins, on the day its mainnet launched. Arc charges fees in USDC and finalises blocks in under a second, which suits large stablecoin trades. Stablecoins are already a big part of Uniswap's business: $2.7 trillion of stablecoin volume since 2020, about $2 trillion of it in USDC.
- Stablecoin-to-stablecoin swaps on Uniswap exceeded $43B in Q2 2026 alone.
- Circle's bitcoin-backed token cirBTC was tradable at launch: institutions mint and redeem it through Circle Mint, while anyone can trade it or provide liquidity.
- Swaps are available in the Uniswap web app and wallet; developers and AI agents can use the Uniswap API (Arc chain ID 5042).
