TVA agrees to buy 50 MW from Hermes 2 to serve Google data centres
TVA agreed to buy up to 50 MW from Kairos Power's Hermes 2 in Oak Ridge, the first US utility deal to buy power from an advanced Gen IV reactor, due to run from 2030. Google gets the clean-energy credits; it is the first project under Google's 500 MW agreement with Kairos.
