TSMC reportedly pulls Arizona Fab 2 forward: tool installation in Q3 2026, 3 nm production in 2027
Nikkei and Taiwan's Commercial Times reported that TSMC would install equipment in its second Arizona fab in Q3 2026 to enable 3nm chip manufacturing in 2027, a year ahead of the 2028 target. The first Arizona fab was already producing chips for Apple and NVIDIA's Blackwell.
