TSMC announces A16 node with Super Power Rail backside power delivery

TSMC unveiled its A16 (1.6nm-class) process node at its North American Technology Symposium, featuring the company's first backside power delivery system called Super Power Rail. The technology moves the power distribution network to the back of the chip, leaving the front free for signal wiring.
