TSMC announces A14 node for 2028, with 2nd generation gate-all-around transistors

TSMC disclosed its A14 (1.4nm-class) process technology, targeting mass production in 2028, with improvements in performance, power and density over N2. A backside-power version is planned for 2029. The node uses second-generation gate-all-around nanosheet transistors.
