Tongwei launches TNC 3.0 TOPCon modules of up to 770 W at SNEC 2026

At the SNEC trade show in Shanghai, Tongwei presented its TNC 3.0 TOPCon platform, which cuts each cell into quarters and seals every surface to get more power from the same area. It comes in 770 W and 670 W versions, and global deliveries have started. Tongwei says it lowers the cost of electricity by about 3%.

• Two formats: 770 W G12-66 and 670 W G12R-66, up to 24.8% module efficiency.
• Cell efficiency above 26.3%; bifaciality up to 90%; -0.26%/°C temperature coefficient.
• Quarter-cut cells save about 4 W per module versus half-cut designs.
• Tongwei is also investing in back-contact and perovskite-silicon tandem cells.
