SWCC Corporation and Faraday Factory Japan signed a basic agreement to jointly develop superconducting cable systems for data center power distribution, with commercial deployment targeted for fiscal 2030. SWCC will design and manufacture the cable systems and handle installation, while Faraday Factory Japan will supply the HTS wire.
