Sutskever becomes SSI CEO after Daniel Gross departs

Ilya Sutskever became SSI CEO as of July 3, with co-founder Daniel Levy as president. Daniel Gross, who co-founded SSI, left the company (as of June 29) to join Meta's Superintelligence Labs. Sutskever said SSI would continue building safe superintelligence independently and was not pursuing acquisition offers.
