SSI raises $2B at a $32B valuation led by Greenoaks

Safe Superintelligence/SSI research programme

Safe Superintelligence, co-founded by Ilya Sutskever after leaving OpenAI, raised $2B at $32B valuation, a sixfold increase from $5B in September. Greenoaks led with $500M; other investors included Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed, DST, Alphabet and Nvidia. SSI had released no product and trains on Google's TPU chips.
