Stanford team using Utah arrays decodes speech at 62 words per minute (Nature)

Stanford researchers using Blackrock intracortical Utah arrays decoded speech at 62 words per minute from an ALS patient, 3.4 times the previous record. The system achieved 9.1% word error rate on a 50-word vocabulary and 23.8% on 125,000 words.
