Spirit AI closes a RMB 1B round, lifting its valuation above RMB 20B

Spirit AI completed a new RMB 1 billion round, weeks after the February raise, and reports put its valuation above RMB 20 billion. It said it had collected more than 200,000 hours of real robot interaction data at a tenth of the usual cost and expects over 1 million hours in 2026. It signed a strategic agreement with JD.com on 19 March.
