Sierra launches Ghostwriter, an agent that builds customer-service agents from plain-English instructions

Sierra released Ghostwriter, which assembles and edits AI customer agents from written descriptions and uploaded material instead of code or configuration screens. Self-service building could cut the setup work Sierra has done for each customer and open the platform to smaller teams.

• Accepts procedures, support-call transcripts, audio recordings, whiteboard photos or a plain request.
• Output agents work across voice, chat and email in more than 30 languages, with guardrails built in.
• Generates test simulations with each change to catch failures before they reach customers.
