Schaeffler to deploy at least 1,000 Hexagon AEON humanoids across its plants by 2032
After a 2025 pilot in which AEON loaded, unloaded and inspected parts at a multi-machine station, Schaeffler agreed to roll out at least 1,000 of the robots across its global factory network by 2032. Schaeffler will also supply precision actuators to Hexagon, making it both customer and supplier.
- At least 1,000 AEON units across Schaeffler plants, 2026 to 2032.
- Pilot in 2025: loading, unloading and inspecting parts at a multi-machine station.
- Automated part inspection to roll out from the end of 2026.
- Schaeffler supplies high-precision actuators to Hexagon Robotics.
