AEON starts production tasks at BMW Plant Leipzig; full production use targeted by end of 2026
BMW and Hexagon said AEON is now carrying out production tasks inside BMW's Leipzig plant while being trained for future jobs. Next steps are more autonomy and robustness and moving battery-assembly work from BMW's test garage onto the factory floor, with full production use planned by end of 2026.
