Rejuvenate Bio reports AAV-delivered OSK extended remaining lifespan in aged mice

Rejuvenate BioOSK partial reprogramming gene therapy

The peer-reviewed version of Rejuvenate Bio's study in Cellular Reprogramming reported that systemically delivered AAV vectors encoding inducible OSK (Oct4, Sox2, Klf4) extended median remaining lifespan of 124-week-old male mice by 109% over age-matched controls. The study demonstrates feasibility of partial reprogramming gene therapy in vivo.

  • Systemically delivered AAVs encoding inducible OSK extended median remaining lifespan of aged mice by 109% over controls.
  • 124-week-old male mice used as aging model; 109% extension represents >doubling of remaining lifespan.
  • Published in peer-reviewed Cellular Reprogramming journal; demonstrates proof-of-concept for partial reprogramming gene therapy in living animals.
