ReElement and POSCO International form $200M joint venture for US rare-earth refining and magnet making
ReElement and Korea's POSCO International signed a joint venture to build an integrated US rare-earth chain, from feedstock through separation and metal making to permanent magnets. The partners plan about $200M of investment, with a site still being chosen.

- Phase 1 (2028): about 3,000 t a year of separated rare-earth oxides.
- Phase 2 (2030): about 6,000 t a year.
- Uses ReElement's chromatography; POSCO brings industrial scale and customers.
