Quantum Motion selected for Stage B of DARPA's Quantum Benchmarking Initiative; one of 11 advancing from initial 18

Quantum MotionFull-Stack Silicon CMOS Quantum Computer

DARPA advanced Quantum Motion to Stage B of its Quantum Benchmarking Initiative in November 2025, one of 11 teams selected from an initial cohort of 18. Stage B evaluates the company's vision, risk approach, and capability for delivering a utility-scale fault-tolerant quantum computer. The phase will run approximately one year with up to $15M in funding.

  • DARPA's QBI audits whether quantum approaches can achieve utility-scale operation by 2033
  • Quantum Motion demonstrates silicon CMOS can compete with cryogenic alternatives on cost, space, and power
  • Silicon-based architecture offers 100x cost reduction, 100x space reduction, 1,000x power reduction vs. industrial systems
