Viking announced completion of enrollment in both phase 3 VANQUISH trials. VANQUISH-1 enrolled 4,661 patients with obesity; VANQUISH-2 enrolled approximately 1,000 patients with obesity and type 2 diabetes. Both 78-week subcutaneous injection trials will read out in 2027. Oral formulation phase 3 expected to begin Q4 2026.
