After nine years of permitting, Perpetua started early construction at Stibnite once it posted $139M of financial assurance and the Forest Service confirmed the 2025 approval's conditions were met. The project holds the only known US antimony reserve.
- Record of Decision was issued in January 2025.
- Gold reserves of 4.8 million oz; about 450,000 oz a year in the first four years.
- About 950 jobs during construction and 550 in operations.
- Over $80M already received from the US Department of Defense.
