Pat Gelsinger announces IDM 2.0 strategy including Intel Foundry Services
New Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger laid out IDM 2.0: Intel would manufacture most of its own chips, use outside foundries for some products, and open fabs to other companies via Intel Foundry Services. Intel planned $20 billion investment in two new Arizona fabs.
