Over 1,000 tonnes of specialized components shipped for BREST-OD-300 reactor

Rosatom announced that over 1,000 tonnes of specialized components for the BREST-OD-300 reactor have been manufactured and shipped to the construction site at Seversk.

• Components include reactor vessel internals, steam generators, pumps and specialized steels designed to withstand molten lead and fast neutrons.
• On-site assembly is ongoing; startup remains planned for 2029, delayed from original 2026 target due to additional engineering work.
