Northrop opens Propulsion Innovation Center in Elkton, Maryland, part of a $100M expansion

Northrop opened a 57,000 sq ft Propulsion Innovation Center for about 250 engineers at its 550-acre Elkton campus, part of a $100 million investment. It should raise Elkton's rocket motor design and production capacity by 25%. Company-wide, Northrop aims to lift output from 13,000 motors in 2024 to more than 25,000 a year by 2029.
