Newcleo submits safety documentation for LFR-AS-30 to French nuclear regulator
Newcleo submitted detailed nuclear safety programme documentation for its 30 MWe lead-cooled fast reactor (LFR-AS-30) to France's nuclear regulator ASNR. The submission is a major step toward construction authorization, with plans to apply for a building permit by the end of 2026 and first operation targeted for 2031.
