Nature retracts the 2018 Delft paper on quantized Majorana conductance, an early pillar of Microsoft's qubit bet

The authors, from Microsoft researcher Leo Kouwenhoven's group in Delft, retracted their 2018 Nature paper after outside physicists flagged problems. Re-analysis showed some data had been corrected without disclosure and mis-calibrated; with all the data included, the result read as evidence of Majorana modes no longer held.
