Najat Khan takes over as Recursion CEO from co-founder Chris Gibson
Recursion's board approved a leadership transition effective 1 January 2026: Najat Khan, serving as chief R&D and chief commercial officer, became CEO and President. Co-founder Chris Gibson moved to Chair of the Board.
- Khan was previously Chief R&D Officer and Chief Commercial Officer.
- Gibson remains on the board as Chair.
- The transition follows Recursion's merger with Exscientia in November 2024.
