Lucid starts delivering production-validation Gravity robotaxis to Nuro

NuroLucid–Nuro–Uber robotaxi

In its Q2 2026 results release, Lucid said it has begun delivering production-validation Lucid Gravity vehicles to Nuro for the Uber robotaxi program. Uber and Nuro are testing them in the San Francisco Bay Area and Houston, with a fleet of nearly 100 vehicles supporting the work. The release calls the robotaxi program a top priority and gives no commercial launch date.

  • Lucid describes the program as in "active testing and validation", one of four must-win projects for the company.
  • The project moves into a dedicated Lucid Technologies business unit that combines AI, driver-assistance and digital capabilities.
  • The release gives no delivery count, no date for the first deliveries and no timing for a public rollout.
  • The release lists the Uber and Nuro partnerships among the factors that could affect results, and its plans are forward-looking statements.
